Ravello, 21-23 October 2010

The Lectio Magistralis of Cesare de Florio La Rocca, founder and president of Projeto Axé, opened the fifth edition of the Forum Ravello LAB – Colloqui internazionali.
At the Forum, entitled “Development driven by culture: Creativity, Development and Social Inclusion”, hundred of experts from all over Europe discussed the role of culture in fostering growth. The results of the Forum have been published under the “Agenda of Ravello LAB” name and represent the yearly guidelines to governments, institutions and private and public stakeholders involved in the elaboration and implementation of new development policies. LA MUSICA DI RAI 3 - Projeto Axé from Salvador de Bahia to Perugia

A 50-minute special TV program was dedicated by Italian Television RAI3 to SONS E MOVIMENTOS DO DESEJO. Sons e movimentos do desejo (sounds and movements of desire) is the show that closed the festival Umbria Jazz 2010 on July the 18th, starring 20 young artists from Projeto Axé – a performance of Brazilian dance, music and capoeira, born under the sign of solidarity, with Fiorella Mannoia, the Italian singer who participated with extreme generosity. On stage, also the duo Hamilton De Holanda and Yamadu Costa, Giovanni Hidalgo with Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, and Alfredo Rodriguez. (click on the image to link to Rai site and watch the video)
