BANDAXE', CD “Anunciaçao” contains 12 tracks and was produced in 2008 with support from the Foundation Alta Mane. The music ranges from samba-reggae to opera: “Without any preconceptions about the methods used, we have dared to travel through various periods, through various cultures and sounds, starting with our rhythms and songs.”
“Anunciaçao” represents the experience of the young musicians of Bandaxé, an experience involving their life journey, their journey into music and with Projeto Axé. The result is an unusual, eclectic pop CD, a novelty on the Bahian music scene.
